“Today kicks off the World Green Building Council’s World Green Building Week, celebrating the efforts of Green Building Councils (GBC) from 98 countries throughout the world, which represent more than 25,000 organizations. From Sept. 16 – 20, 2013, there will be service events taking place in line with this year’s theme: “Greener Buildings, Better Places, Healthier People.”
USGBC is celebrating World Green Building Week by participating in a number of Green Apple Day of Service projects from Sept.16-21. Green Apple Day of Service gives parents, teachers, students, companies, and local organizations the opportunity to transform schools into healthy, safe, and productive learning environments through local service projects.
