Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, which is continuing in Altunizade, İstanbul, has 75.000 m2 closed area and 17.000 m2 land area. The design and construction of a fully equipped hospital with 250 bed capacity aimed to be completed by the beginning of 2017 is being carried out by the Acıbadem Group and the project is a candidate for the Gold certification in the LEED Healthcare category.
In the scope of the project, it was aimed to reduce energy consumed with insulation thicknesses, glass values, efficient lighting fixtures and to minimize energy consumption together with cogen system to ensure high energy efficiency. In order to maximize water efficiency, the collected rainwater will be purified and used again in the building and in the landscape water, while the use of the network water will be minimized in the medical devices.
