Product Sustainability
EPD-Environmental Product Declaration: Altensis provides support for the calculation and determination of the environmental performance of a product or a service; based on the parameters and the predetermined categories defined by ISO 14040 and according to ISO 14025 , with Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) method . Altensis also assists for preparing of the declaration and the management of the third-party verification process.
LCA – Life-Cycle Assessment: The analysis of the impact on the environment of the production and utilization activities for the application of innovation management and/or scenario modeling in eco-product design considering the phases of the product during its life cycle (the time from its manufacture to its recycling or disposal) based on ISO 14040 is one of the services Altensis provides.
Product Carbon Footprint: Altensis can calculate Life-cycle Assessment (LCA) evaluating all environmental impacts or as ‘’Product Carbon Footprint’’ considering only carbon emissions of the product according to the needs of the corporation. Product Carbon Footprint analysis is based on ISO 14067 which is currently released as a draft. ISO 14067 draft standard is consistent with ISO 14040/44 series and ISO 14025, but focused on climate change.
