Palladium Tower, a multi-storey office project located in Istanbul Ataşehir, has been awarded the GOLD certificate under the LEED Core & Shell category. In addition to the efficient water faucets selected in the project, condensation and rainwater are collected and reused in reservoir and landscape irrigation systems, saving water in a big way. Also; by the help of facade design, selection of energy efficient mechanical-electrical systems, high energy efficiency achieved according to international standards. The thermal island effect was reduced to a minimum with the parking spaces in the project being underground and the use of light color coating materials in the roof areas; Bicycle parks and electric vehicle charging stations have been provided and emissions from transportation have been minimized. In addition, the building is located in a central location and walking distance to public transport stops contributed to achieving this goal. Products with a volatile organic component content below the international limits have been preferred for chemical substances such as paints, adhesives and the like, which are used for increasing the user health and comfort in the interior. In order to provide sufficient fresh air indoors, the necessary design criteria have been integrated into the project in accordance with the ASHRAE 62.1 standard. The fresh air rates given to the buildings are kept above the ASHRAE 62.1 standard, providing a healthy and comfortable environment for the building users.
