Nurol Tower, which will be rising beside the Palace of Justice in Çağlayan , is expected to be one of the iconic structures of Istanbul very soon. Nurol Tower iscandidate for the LEED Gold certification. Certain green features of the project include:
Maximum Energy Efficiency
Nurol Tower has been designed to be energy efficient using state-of-the-art technology, from ceiling to roof, from lighting to mechanical systems. When completed, Nurol Tower aims to save at least 40% of energy compared to similar buildings.
We Reduce Water Footprint
We plan to save 60% of our water in the use water and landscape irrigation systems used in Nurol Tower by using rain water, gray water recycling systems and water efficient fittings.
Wide Green Areas
Nurol Tower’s designed gardens, green terraces and large garden areas create an almost oxygen source in the city and add color to Istanbul by increasing biodiversity.
Employee Health Focused Design
With the opening windows in Nurol Tower and the increased fresh air quantities, the “plaza effect” on the employees is reduced the most. Building mechanical systems are designed to provide thermal comfort at the top for four seasons. In addition, paint and building chemicals used in Nurol Tower have been chosen within choices which does not harm human health. Employees of the building will benefit from working in a spacious, comfortable, clean, and bright environment with fresh air.
Lower Carbon Emissions Due to Central Location
Nurol Tower helps you reduce your carbon emissions from transportation thanks to its central location and proximity to major roads. In addition, Nurol Tower, which is located within walking distance of many public transportation sources (metrobus, bus stops, etc.), provides transportation without any need for individual vehicle.
With the bazaar in the building, daily necessities (eating / drinking, pharmacy, dry cleaning, etc.) can be fulfilled without moving away from the building and without using a car. In this way, Nurol Tower employees can eliminate their needs without emitting tons of carbon dioxide.
Environmental Building Materials
Construction materials used in the Nurol Tower have been carefully selected to be recycled, selected from materials do not contain atmospheric gases and human health hazardous gases and purchased from nearby sources and environmentally friendly supply chains.
