Mint Offices Çağlayan building, located in Kağıthane district of Istanbul, where trade is intense, has been awarded a SILVER level certificate in the LEED v4 BD + C Core & Shell category.

All occupants of the Mint Metro project are able to take advantage of the public transport facilities within walking distance and access the social facilities where they can meet their daily needs. Electric vehicle charging stations have been placed in the parking lots to support environmentally friendly vehicle use.

The use of water-efficient fixtures and fittings in the building water savings of more than 40% are achieved in water consumption according to the international EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) standards.

Energy efficiency has been emphasized in all service systems used within the scope of the project. The requirements of the American Energy Efficiency Standard (ASHRAE 90.1-2010) are pre-regulated using efficient lighting fixtures, heating, cooling and ventilation systems.

Materials that are sustainable and environmentally friendly are preferred. Recyclable waste points are provided on each floor in order to separate the recyclable waste that will arise during the operation process from domestic waste. Unnecessary consumption of resources can be prevented with all these applications.

In building design, while planning the interior design of areas, it has been taken into consideration that the building users benefit from daylight. Since it is aimed to provide indoor air quality conditions, attention has been paid to the selection of construction materials such as paint and adhesives in accordance with international indoor air quality standards.

Waste management plans have been prepared throughout the operation process starting from the construction phase. Most of the site wastes were collected and recycled. During operation, recyclable office wastes will be collected and sent for recycling.
