Maltepe Piazza Shopping Center Project, which was built by Rönesans Real Estate with an investment value of 378 million Euro in Maltepe, has been awarded LEED certificate in Core & Shell category and Gold level. In this context, many environmental and human-friendly features are integrated into project design and construction. The rain water collected from the roof and hardscape was combined with the condensate from the cooling system and groundwater and used for irrigation of landscape and Office-Shopping Center WC reservoirs to increase Water Efficiency. As a result of the dynamic energy simulation using building systems, it has been determined that the project is 20% more efficient than the base building designed according to ASHRAE.90.1 which is an International Energy Efficiency Standard.
