The Eczacıbaşı Office Building is entitled to receive a Certificate of Excellent in the scope of BREEAM In Use – International, which aims to improve the use of buildings in terms of environment, health, efficiency and comfort. Altensis provided BREEAM management services for bicycle parking, locker rooms, showers, locked cabinets, accessibility applications for handicaps, pedestrian and bicycle safety, etc. in order to improve the building users’ access to the building, building use and building security. In addition, building management’s recycling – domestic waste and environmentally sensitive material – product purchasing policies and the monthly monthly water consumption of the building have been examined in detail and improvements have been made. As a result of the ASHRAE Energy study conducted by Altensis, the building’s deficiencies were identified and a road map for energy efficiency was drawn. In addition to this, the building has also received the Energy Identity Certificate (EKB), which contains information on minimum energy requirements and energy consumption classification, insulation properties and information on the utilization of heating and/or cooling systems.
