Bulvar 216, located on the Istanbul Anatolian Side, Ataşehir Boulevard, is entitled to receive LEED Silver certification.  Thanks to its central location, public transportation and social facilities can be accessed with ease. The project is aimed at reducing the emission of carbon emissions from transportation by providing sufficient parking spaces for bicycle parks and low emission vehicles in sufficient quantities. During the construction process, the erosion and sedimentation plan was developed to minimize damage to the environment and nature; Measures have been taken to prevent dust formation and water and construction pollution. The wastes generated during construction were separated and evaluated in areas such as recycling and reuse. Thus, the amount of construction waste is reduced. The use of low-water, efficient water faucets in the building has contributed significantly to water efficiency. Energy-efficient mechanical-electrical systems, facade cladding and appropriate glass selection have resulted in a 28% energy saving compared to international standards. It is aimed to reduce the heat island effect by prefering green roofs with transparent open type coatings in the building site and in the openings. The necessary infrastructure and automation monitoring system are designed to track energy consumption of these systems separately. To increase user comfort and health, the amount of fresh air supplied to the premises is kept above international standards; Interior paint, adhesive, putty etc. chemicals are selected from products with low VOC content.
