The world’s leading chemical company BASF’s Construction Chemicals Depot and Laboratory building in Gebze was awarded with LEED Certificate at PLATIN level by its superior design and integration of BASF corporate sustainability principles into every stage of the project.

Applications such as rainwater collection and reuse, energy-efficient HVAC systems and high-performance insulation systems have come to the forefront in the BASF CONSTRUCTION CHEMICALS LABORATORY project, Turkey’s first LEED Platinum certified industrial building. In addition, the project, which uses BASF products with low harmful VOC emissions, places great emphasis on human health and comfort.
