AVEA Ahlatlıbel Building has been awarded with LEED for Existing Buildings: Operation & Maintenance Gold  level certification.

A significant portion of the work being done for the criteria specified in the certification system can be summarized under the following headings;

• The energy efficiency of the energy-consuming main systems of the building will be detailed according to the ASHRAE standards, the determination of the roadmap for improving energy efficiency,
• Establishing a system that creates opportunities for continuous improvement on the basis of continuous monitoring of water consumption in accordance with usage area within the weekly periods
• The creation of green areas with local plants that need less water resources and adapted to local climate conditions,
• Reducing transportation greenhouse gas emissions due to the encouragement of employees to public transportation (service and pool vehicles)
• The use of cooling fluids which are not harmful to the ozone layer and contribute to the global warming at least,
• The preference of energy efficient products with low energy consumption values in electronic products and adapting them to general purchasing policy,
• Selection of cleaning materials and personal cleaning materials used in the building from green certified eco-friendly products,
• Recycling waste through contracts and protocols with recycling companies and municipals
