Allianz Turkey, featured with human and environment friendly approachments, taking the decision of regional investment and has moved the Operation Center to İzmir.

Allianz Campus, which is located in İzmir Gaziemir and close to the airport, has been awarded with the certificate at the GOLD level under the LEED for New Construction category.

To provide comfort for business sustainability, to strengthen the human-environment relationship, to prevent wasted use of labor and resources through efficient solutions are the strategies necessary for growth and consolidation. Allianz Turkey, aware of these strategies, continues these approaches on the Allianz Campus project. Allianz Campus attracts attention with its environment and employee friendly implementations.

Allianz Izmir Operations Center is in a location where a sub-structure is established. Thus, it can serve the users and the visiters without damaging the nature. Carbon emission has been reduced by the fact that the project is close to public transportations and bicycle parking spaces are available in the building.

Precautions have been taken to protect water resources with reducing water consumption inside and outside of the building. Bio-diversity and local plants with low water demand and efficient irrigation systems have been prefered in landscape implementation. In this way, the water consumption of landsacape have been reduced to 50% compared to the base building.

Energy efficiency has been emphasized in all service systems used within the scope of the project. The requirements of the American Energy Efficiency Standard are pre-regulated using efficient lighting fixtures, heating, cooling and ventilation systems.  Photovoltaic Panel system had been implemented to the roof of Allianz Campus and savings in electricity generation have been achieved. In addition, the visual comfort conditions of the building users have been provided by increasing the interior view quality. On the design stage, it has been taken into consideration that the building users in the regularly occupied spaces to have benefit from the daylight at optimum level. The comfort and health of building users are the main items that the LEED system considers. In this context, VOC (volatile organic compound) ratios of building chemicals used in the interior of building during construction have been selected according to limits of international standards.

Waste management plans have been prepared for construction processes as well as for operation processes. During operation, recyclable wastes would be collected separately and sent for recycling. In addition, food compost wastes would be used as fertilizer support for the landscape area.
