The Vakıfbank Branch Project, located in the Vadi Istanbul Office Building in Sarıyer, Istanbul, has been awarded LEED v4 IDC Commercial Interiors Gold certification for its environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and user-comfort-focused design and construction practices.By complying with LEED criteria in both its design and construction, the project aims to minimize the negative environmental impact of building development. Additionally, through the strategies and systems implemented, operational costs during the building’s lifecycle are reduced, enhancing occupant comfort while ensuring energy and water savings. The selection of materials prioritized low environmental impact and compliance with national standards. LED lighting fixtures were selected to ensure high energy efficiency. Low-water-consumption fixtures were installed, achieving 45% water efficiency.
