Assan Orhanlı Logistic Park Project has been awarded LEED v4 Building Design and Construction: Core and Shell certification at the Silver level, reflecting its environmentally responsible and sustainable design approach.
Within the scope of the project, strategies aimed at enhancing energy and water efficiency throughout the building were prioritized. The design and selection of lighting, heating, cooling, ventilation, and automation systems were carried out in compliance with the requirements of the ASHRAE 90.1-2010 energy efficiency standard. Through the use of efficient water fixtures, water savings exceeding 35% were targeted compared to the baseline scenario.
By prioritizing materials with recycled content, the project contributes to reducing the environmental impacts of the construction sector. In addition, interior finishes and building materials were carefully selected to ensure the use of low-emission products that are tested and certified in accordance with international standards. Furthermore, to improve indoor air quality, ventilation systems were designed in compliance with the ASHRAE 62.1-2010 standard.
During the construction phase, waste materials were diverted to recycling streams, and during the building’s operational phase, infrastructure was established to enable the separate collection of recyclable waste. Through the implementation of all these sustainability strategies, the Assan Orhanlı Logistics Warehouse Project is positioned as an exemplary green building that minimizes environmental impacts, prioritizes occupant health and comfort, and offers low operational costs.
