Location Osmangazi, Bursa
Building Size 8800 m²
Certification Type LEED v4 BD+C New Construction

The İsoteks Tekstil Project, a LEED v4 BD+C New Construction GOLD-certified project, is located near the Bursa Demirtaş Dumlupınar Organized Industrial Zone. The project departs from traditional manufacturing methods, emphasizing a concept of unmanned production.

Landscaping has been incorporated into the project, harmonizing with the region’s green spaces and prioritizing biodiversity.  Light-colored surface materials have been selected to mitigate the urban heat island effect, minimizing negative impacts on the microclimate.  Limited parking spaces and electric vehicle charging stations have been installed to reduce individual vehicle use, aiming to minimize carbon emissions.

Rainwater harvesting is utilized as an alternative water source, significantly reducing the building’s reliance on municipal water supplies and resulting in an 80% water saving.

Photovoltaic systems installed on the roof meet a significant portion of the building’s energy needs, achieving over 65% energy savings. Water and energy-generating systems are monitored in real-time, allowing for rapid intervention in case of potential malfunctions.

The use of recycled materials has prioritized reducing resource consumption and raising environmental awareness

Minimized human presence in manufacturing areas reduces energy consumption and improves operational efficiency.  Adequate mechanical ventilation and optimized lighting systems ensure user comfort.
