The CEVA Logistics İzmir Building has achieved Good ratings in both Asset Performance and Management Performance under the BREEAM In-Use – International certification scheme, which aims to enhance the environmental performance, occupant health, energy efficiency, and comfort levels of existing buildings. This achievement represents a significant step forward in aligning the building with sustainability principles and international quality standards.
Altensis carried out BREEAM management services with a comprehensive approach to enhancing the overall user experience of the building. The aspects of accessibility, indoor comfort, and safety conditions for occupants were thoroughly assessed. Accordingly, existing facilities such as changing rooms, showers, lockers, accessibility features for disabled users, and pedestrian safety measures were carefully reviewed, and necessary improvements were diligently implemented where required. In addition, the project involved a detailed review of the building management’s waste management and recycling policies as well as the procurement processes for environmentally friendly materials and products. The monthly and annual electricity and water consumption data of the building were analyzed to identify opportunities for improving energy and resource efficiency. This comprehensive assessment aims to enhance occupant comfort while minimizing the building’s environmental impact.
