Located in Altunizade, one of Istanbul’s well-established districts, Altunizade Suites Istanbul, operating under Hilton’s distinguished Curio Collection by Hilton brand, has been awarded LEED v4 Building Design and Construction: New Construction certification at the GOLD level.

The project’s operational scenario has been structured around the implementation of systems aimed at reducing energy and water consumption, along with design strategies and solutions that enhance indoor air quality. During the design phase, high-efficiency equipment and systems were selected in accordance with the requirements of American energy efficiency standards. Approximately 10% of the building’s total energy demand is supplied through on-site renewable energy sources. Through this approach, energy performance has been improved while maintaining user comfort, and a reduction in operational costs has been targeted.

During the construction process, low-emitting materials were preferred to support indoor air quality, and careful consideration was given to selecting construction materials with sustainable and environmentally friendly characteristics.
