TARSİM – Tarım Sigortaları Havuzu has been awarded the LEED Operation & Maintenance: Existing Buildings Gold certification. In line with the objectives of the Agricultural Insurance Law, which aims to promote and expand agricultural insurance while protecting producers from natural disasters and other potential risks, the necessary applications are carried out accurately and efficiently.

A detailed energy efficiency audit of the building’s major energy-consuming systems was conducted in accordance with ASHRAE standards. Based on the identified energy-saving opportunities, a roadmap was developed to enhance energy efficiency.

Improvements to the ventilation and existing automation systems have resulted in both increased energy efficiency and enhanced indoor air quality.

To reduce water consumption, low-flow aerators were installed, achieving an efficiency increase of over 30%.

Designated smoking areas have been identified, and users have been informed with signage, minimizing polluted air zones at building entrances and exits.

The project prioritizes waste separation and the reuse and/or recycling of recyclable waste. A specific time frame was established during the operational process to evaluate the project’s waste separation performance.
