The Richemont Office Project, located in the Maçka Residence and Office Building in Sisli, Istanbul, has been awarded the LEED v4 IDC Commercial Interiors Gold certification for its environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and user-comfort-focused design and construction practices.
By adhering to LEED criteria in both its design and construction, the Richemont Office Project aims to minimize the negative environmental impact of building development. Additionally, through the strategies and systems implemented, operational costs during the building’s lifecycle are reduced, enhancing occupant comfort while ensuring energy and water savings.
The selection of materials prioritized low environmental impact and compliance with national standards. Materials used in the Richemont Office Project were carefully chosen to support recycling and the local economy.
The project incorporates automated water usage, heating, and lighting systems, along with high-efficiency mechanical and electrical equipment, fixtures, water fittings, and LED lighting systems, significantly increasing energy and water savings.
Moreover, particular attention was given to selecting paints, adhesives, and other chemical materials in compliance with international indoor air quality standards to ensure a healthy indoor environment.
