Bupa Acibadem Office Project, which is located on 5^th and 12^th floors of LEED Gold certificated Maltepe Piazza Office Building, is awarded for LEED v4 IDC Commercial Interiors certification in GOLD level for the project’s good environmental practises during construction, its successful and user comfort-oriented interior design and its energy and water efficient equipment and material selections. By complying with LEED criteria in the design and construction of the Bupa Acıbadem Office project, it will prevent the negative effects of construction on the environment, and thanks to the strategies and systems used, it will reduce the operating expenses that will occur during the operation of the buildings, increase the comfort of the building users, and reduce expenses by saving energy and water. In the selection of the materials used, low environmental impact and compliance with national standards were prioritized. The materials in Bupa Acibadem Office Project are selected from post and pre consumer recycled materials and delivered from regional sources. Building Automation System to meter and manage water use,  heating, lighting and plug energy consumption, selection of high efficient mechanical-electrical equipment, purchasing IT equipment and kitchen appliances with ENERGY STAR, high efficient water fixtures and LED lighting appliances with daylight & motion sensors in office provide high level of energy and water savings. Fresh air amount is set above the international standards and VOC content of the building construction chemicals that used during the construction of interior spaces, is selected to be the lowest ratio in order to increase interior living health and comfort.
