ISKUR Holding’s office building in Istanbul has been awarded the LEED v4 Interior Design and Construction: Commercial Interiors certification at the GOLD level.

In the project, energy efficiency was prioritized in all the service systems used. In the design and selection of lighting fixtures, heating, cooling, ventilation, and automation, the requirements of the American energy efficiency standard ASHRAE 90.1-2010 were followed, achieving a performance that is 10% more efficient than this standard.

At ISKUR Holding, the selection of efficient water fixtures aimed to achieve over 45% water efficiency. In the materials used, great care was taken to ensure that newly purchased products were EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certified. The project contributed to reducing the environmental impacts of the construction industry by reusing materials. Throughout the construction process, waste was directed to recycling, minimizing the amount sent to landfills.

The interior finishing materials used were selected for their low emissions, tested, and certified according to international standards. Additionally, great importance was placed on ensuring indoor air quality, and the ventilation systems were designed in accordance with the ASHRAE 62.1-2010 standard.
