Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

Your personal data is processed by Altensis İnşaat Enerji San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Altensis”) as the data controller, within the scope described in this notice.

Depending on how you use our website, the following personal data may be processed:

• Identity data: your first and last name.
• Contact data: your e-mail address and phone number.
• Request data: the subject you select in the contact form and the content of your message.
• CV and professional data: the CV you share in a job application, the position you apply for and other information you provide.
• Newsletter data: the e-mail address you share to subscribe to our newsletter.
• Security data: the IP address, date-time and browser information recorded in server logs during your visit.

• To evaluate and respond to your contact, quotation and training requests,
• To evaluate job applications and run recruitment processes,
• To send our newsletter and announcements if you have given consent,
• To keep the website secure, prevent misuse and fix technical issues,
• To fulfil our legal obligations and respond to requests from competent authorities.

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK:

• It is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (quotation and service requests, recruitment),
• It is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations,
• It is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
• It is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (website security, records of requests).

Processing not covered by these grounds, such as sending our newsletter, is based on your explicit consent under Article 5(1) of the KVKK. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Your personal data is collected electronically through the contact, job application and newsletter forms on our website and the e-mails you send us, and automatically in the case of server logs.

For the purposes above and to the extent necessary, your personal data may be transferred to:

• Service providers we work with for website hosting, form delivery and e-mail services. Their servers may be located abroad; transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.
• Competent public authorities and courts, where required by law,
• Our legal and financial advisers, who are bound by confidentiality.

Your personal data is never sold or rented to third parties for marketing purposes.

Your personal data is retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and the applicable legislation. At the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Where processing is based on your consent and you withdraw it, the related data is deleted unless another legal ground applies.

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply to the data controller to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
• Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
• Request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
• Request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
• Object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
• Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

You may send your requests in writing to our address above, together with information that identifies you, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or by e-mail to info@altensis.com from an e-mail address you have previously notified to us.

Your request will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
