BREEAM certification like LEED certification, intends to measure a building&#8217;s environmental performance by applying certain standards. BREEAM \u2018s core target is to award the buildings that are implementing environmentally friendly technologies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently there are three different versions of BREEAM can be applied internationally:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list\">\n<li>BREEAM International<\/li>\n<li>BREEAM In-Use International<\/li>\n<li>BREEAM International Bespoke<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although BREEAM certification is similar in principle with LEED Certification, BREEAM certification can only be taken for the design of the building and can only be prepared project-specific (Bespoke). In addition, levels of certification is listed as Pass, Good, Very Good, Excellent and Outstanding.<\/p>\n<p>There are more than 200,000 buildings (residential, business, shopping center, etc.) world-wide awarded with BREEAM certification. This makes BREEAM world&#8217;s most recognized green building certification scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Altensis offers full range of BREEAM consulting and assessment services.
